The price you join at is the price you keep.
One seat per person, one device per seat. Early access is limited and the rate steps up as it fills, but it never steps up underneath someone who already joined.

$4.99 a month is what Riggit will cost once early access closes. Nobody has paid it yet, and nobody who joins before it opens ever will.
There are free tools. They do something else.
Some fill a contribution graph with commits that were never made. Some draw pictures on it. Both produce a profile that falls apart the moment someone opens one of the repositories behind it, which is the one moment it needed to hold.
Riggit invents nothing. It takes work you already did and puts it on the day you did it.
What lands in the repository
Empty commits, generated to fill space.
The project you actually built, unchanged.
What someone finds when they look
Nothing behind the squares.
Real work, dated when you wrote it.
What you can say about it
Very little, comfortably.
That the record finally matches what happened.
For a college or a training institute there is a second difference. This is an application you install, from a company that can be contacted, rather than a script from a stranger run against a student's GitHub account.
The details.
- Can I try it first?
- Three commits, free, with no account and no card. That is enough to point Riggit at a real repository and see a real commit land where you asked for it.
- What happens if I cancel?
- The app keeps working until the period you have paid for ends, then drops back to the free trial. Every commit you have already made is a normal Git commit and stays exactly where it is.
- Can I move it to another machine?
- Yes. A seat covers one device at a time, and you can release the current one from Settings and activate somewhere else. There is no limit on how often.
- Who takes the payment?
- Polar, as merchant of record. They handle the card, the invoice and the tax, and prices are presented in your own currency where they support it.
- Is the early access price really permanent?
- For as long as the subscription runs without a break. If you cancel and come back later, you rejoin at whatever the rate is then.
